Manual therapies

I specialize in using manual therapies such as massage and stretches to improve the comfort and performance of animals, with a focus on providing personalized care for every patient. Manual therapy is a hands-on approach to treating injuries or conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system of animals. It can be used to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and improve overall mobility. We offer manual therapy to get an in depth feeling of the animal's needs and how to best help each case.

Remedial exercise

Remedial exercises and exercise programmes compliment other aspects of physiotherapy treatments as they introduce dynamic use of musculature to a session. These may include exercises such as poles, backing up, shoulders away, and hind end away. Remedial exercises can also be prescribed for between treatments, meaning that post session the horse continues to use musculature properly and allow for progression between sessions.
